#3 ~ Getting Married Gift Book!

This product was originally created for a teacher friend of mine. She was getting married and the students were so excited about it. Every day they asked questions about the wedding, drew her pictures, and plain out oooozzzed with excitement about all the details of the wedding. So…. What else could I do but help these kids feel like they were a special part of the day by allowing them to make a gift for this very special teacher in their lives. The kids worked so hard on their page and were absolutely thrilled that they had a special surprise gift for her. I cannot tell you how adorable the conversations were while they were creating their special page. I brought the gift wrapped to the wedding and the bride was just overwhelmed by the beautiful job the students did and the touching 'kid thoughts' on marriage and how to live happily ever after. This is a great way to celebrate a teacher's wedding. It can be used for both female and male teachers getting married. :)

#2 ~ Ancient Greece: Domain 3, Core Knowledge Listening and Learning Companion

This product is a complete companion to the second grade Listening and Learning domains. I found the content in this domain to be valuable but very difficult for my second graders to make meaningful connections with it. I had to find or make a bridge to help them connect with the content. So I began creating follow up activities to help my own class. This is how this product was born.

Highlights of this product: There is a different activity for every lesson that helps reinforce the concepts taught in a fun and engaging way. My students enjoyed the activities while also retaining the information taught. Win! Win!

#1 ~ Insect Journal: Domain 3, Core Knowledge Listening and Learning Companion

This product is a complete companion to the second grade Listening and Learning domains. This is the first domain companion I made for my class. I shared it with my team and they were so thrilled with how it worked with for their class. It was my team that encouraged me to put it on TPT. It has since been helpful to many teachers implementing the CKLA domains. This journal is full of content and is also easily able to be adapted to any Insect Unit.
